30S. WE MAY EVEN GET DOWN TO NEAR FREEZING AS WELL. AND OF COURSE, WE’RE GOING TO BE CONTINUING TO TALK ABOUT WHAT IS NOW TROPICAL DEPRESSION SARA. THAT SYSTEM CONTINUES TO MOVE TO THE WEST VERY SLOWLY. IT WILL EVENTUALLY LOSE ITS ENERGY. AND RIGHT NOW, ADVISORY AS OF 4:00 PM, MOVING TO THE WEST NORTHWEST AT 12 MILES AN HOUR AND SUSTAINED WINDS AT 35. SO SARA, NOT LIKELY TO BE AN ISSUE IN THE GULF OF MEXICO, BUT WILL BRING IN REMNANT MOISTURE FOR THE SOUTHEAST. SHOWER CHANCES OUT THERE THROUGH WEDNESDAY

Sara continues weakening as the Tropical Depression moves inland over the Yucatan Peninsula. Remnant tropical moisture may move into the Gulf of Mexico, but Sara is not expected to regain tropical status.
TRACKING SARA OVER CENTRAL AMERICATropical Depression Sara is over Belize and slowly moving over the Yucatan Peninsula. The depression is bringing heavy rain, dangerous flooding, and the threat of mudslides to Central America and Mexico. Meteorologists at the National Hurricane Center expect Sara to impact Mexico next before weakening to a remnant low-pressure system by Monday.
