Storms Sunday Evening… Cold Next Week… Friday PM Forecast Update

Good Friday evening! Our local weather has been seasonal and dry today, but a surface cold front has moved in and temperatures will drop quickly this evening and tonight. Expect most areas in the upper 20s by early Saturday morning. Skies remain mostly clear tonight.

Look for a mostly sunny sky on Saturday, with an afternoon high in the lower 50s. A cool north wind continues on Saturday.

Clouds increase Saturday evening and Saturday night. Scattered rain will be possible early on Sunday, but a fair chunk of the day will be generally dry. Expect a high in the lower to middle 60s on Sunday, as a warm southeast wind develops. Rain and storms arrive Sunday evening and Sunday night. Some storms could be intense with gusty winds, but widespread severe weather is unlikely.

Cold air takes over on Monday, and there is a fair chance you will see some snow flurries on Monday. Travel impact and accumulations are not expected, but it sure will be COLD!

Temperatures will remain chilly next week, with highs in the 40s and lows in the 20s. We’re still watching late next week for any sign of wintry weather, but model data is not overly aggressive on a chance. Most data suggests no precip at all or all rain for Friday or Saturday of next week. We will keep a close eye on trends.
