A tornado warning has been issued for Bay County until 6 a.m. CST.
At 5:26 a.m. CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Panama City Beach, moving northeast at 30 mph.
Radar indicates rotation.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include West Bay, Gulf Resort Beach, Sunnyside, Bahama Beach, Bid-a-Wee, and Edgewater Gulf Beach.
Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
Another tornado warning is in effect for Laguna Beach and West Bay until 6 a.m. CST. Radar indicates rotation. Pea-sized hail is possible, according to the National Weather Service.
