Central Oregon residents will have chances next week to hear from candidates running for elected positions ahead of the May 21 primary.
A forum for Deschutes County Commissioner will be held Monday from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. It’s at the Deschutes County Building Sawyer Room, 1300 NW Wall Street in Bend.
Commissioner Phil Chang is running for re-election against Brian Huntamer, Rob Imhoff and Judy Trego.
Central Oregon Daily’s David Klugh will be the moderator.
On Tuesday, Democratic candidates for the U.S. House from Oregon’s 5th District will be held from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. at The Haven, 1001 SW Disk Drive, Suite 250, in Bend.
Jamie McLeod Skinner and Janelle Bynum are competing for the right to take on Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer, R-Ore., in November.
The forum will be moderated by Central Oregon Daily’s Brooke Snavely.
